August 1-3 http://www.potluckconference.com/
This was my second year to attend and speak at the Potluck Audio Conference in Tuscon ,AZ. For those of you interested or in the Audio Recording world, this is the place to be. For three days you get to hang at the beautiful El Conquistador in Tuscon and hang with some of the top engineers in our field. I should also mention that Tuscon has In and Out burger now(!).
I was lucky enough to catch Andrew Schep's amazing panel "Lost in Translation" again. I first saw it the previous year at Potluck and found it fascinating. You should certainly catch this panel in person if you can, but otherwise you can see some of it here:
This year I was on a Vocal production panel moderated by Jon Pines and included two heavyweights: Neal Cappellino and Ross Hogarth. It was truly and honor to be on a panel two of the greats. My other panel was on location, choosing your recording space, or when it chooses you!
We wrapped the night at the fun Rupert Neve Designs Casista where we played a few of our mixes!
